Field observations were conducted at the Koshibu Dam and Takase Dam, where sedimentation progression is a challenge.

August 21-22, 2025: At the Koshibu Dam and Takase Dam, where sediment accumulation poses challenges, we conducted field observations to confirm the operational status of the 3LSB (Single Beam Continuous Sediment Surface Monitor) under development by Kyoto University in SIP Phase III and the electrical resistance-type sediment flow meter under development by Shinshu University. We also observed the actual state of sediment accumulation and its impact on management facilities.
